....It's been interesting to sit back and watch all that been going on. A lot of various claims, assumptions, and actions had lead to a very volatile situation around steemit these days. Part of me wonders if it was all a "self-fulfilling prophecy..."
ARE BABY OPOSSUMS CUTE / UNDERSTANDING SELF-FULFILLING PROPHECIES
So we'll start with a photo my eight year old daughter "Red-Pepper" took last night, while our nine year old daughter "Pinkie-Pepper" was peeking in an opossums pouch. But before we jump into that (no, we won't actually fit inside of her pouch, I was speaking figuratively) I'll make mention of some things to help people understand what I mean when I speak of self-fulfilling prophecies.

Far, far too often, a person encounters a snake that has no ill-will or nefarious intentions. Since the person believes the snake is a threat, rather than leaving the snake alone to mind its own business, they attack it. Then, when the snake is attacked, it defends itself and bites the attacker. Then the attacker stands back and says, "See, I told you it was dangerous..."
This video above also covers some of this same scenario, and in a humorous way I attempt to illustrate and contrast the perception of the fearful person vs. the perception of the snake. That said, I wonder if that is exactly what's happened between the steemit witnesses and Justin Sun. I'll leave that where it is as a possibility, and simply state that I've never met Justin Sun and have yet to see what his actual intentions are with steemit, but I'm willing to give him a chance. I'll be reading and researching more later on and checking my witness votes as well, but simply offer up this "self-fulfilling prophecy" possibility as some food for thought.
