This morning I stopped at the local library to pick up the book I reserved online. While waiting at the counter I noticed this CD on the shelf nearby.
Mariza! Yes, my favourite fado singer and one of the best lady singers in the world. I love her, I love her music and her passion.

The CD above was published in 2020 too. It's an amazing piece of music. Full of feelings, passion and energy. Be it suppressed or uplifting. It brings life and love to your veins in any case.
I enjoy listening to Mariza and her music since my visit to Lisabon many years ago. Maybe one night I'll be lucky to listen to her and see her singing live. Fingers crossed :)
In the meantime, this CD record and YouTube recordings are the best next thing. And the best it is!

Yesterday I found out that my newly acquired community, Scrum Alliance will hold its next annual gathering in Lisabon in October 2022. I intend to be there.
Also, it seems that Portugal is becoming a safe haven to homesteaders,, to the people in search of an island of sanity in this crazy world.
