Happy Monday!
Being the eldest niece of my 4 uncles who were both music lovers, I grew up listening to their songs using a guitar. It was back 1970's.
When I was in grade 1, at 6 years old, they taught me to sing this song You Needed Me. I sang this in front of the people during a graduation right. I was then second honor pupil in grade 1. Oh my God! Are 40 decades passed by so quickly? I imagine wearing a pink dress and pink shoes. And I did it while people were applauding after I sang it.
Today, I am silently singing in my room so my boss could not hear me.
You Needed Me is a song originally sang by Anne Murray. She is the favorite singer of my mother.
I started singing again last November 2020, when my friend invited me to join #starmaker. They are also monetizing it but I don't care about the earning. What I am doing is sing before and after my sleep. Music helped me, like a medicine relieving some unfavorable emotion.
I love this song, not only because it was my first song I sang a long time ago. I love it because the meaning in every lyric has a great impact on a lonely person and how it became an inspiration.
Thank you #musicforlife for this awesome community.
That's all for today and more next time.
