When you have a big stretch of notes to play, it’s only natural to think that the best way to hit it is by approaching the notes in order. The first note, then the second note, then the third, and so on. But that’s usually not the case.
Most of the time it’s better to start from the middle and work your way out.
Using this approach of starting from the middle and working your pointer and pinky fingers out, even small hands can get a 5-6 fret stretch.
