🎮 To my surprise, Soulja Boy recently created a DLive account, likely to transition his huge game streaming audience from Twitch. Here's the link to his 1st stream there on Jan. 30th.
If you didn't know, he was recently banned from the Twitch streaming platform back in Dec. live mid-stream. With a big gaming brand like SODMG ESports a swift change was needed.
Even though I'm not a big fan of DLive (more on that below), its definitely a better option than Twitch when it comes being in control of your profile and content.
One reason I'm not big on DLive is because even though they've implemented a blockchain incentive system with BTT (BitTorrent), the streamers still don't "own" their accounts, as you can see below.
This isn't Web3. If Big Draco does something that DLive doesn't like, they can terminate his account "with or without reason".
But like I stated earlier, this is a step in the right direction.
One thing about it, you can't say he isn't a real gamer! On his 1st DLive stream he squads up and goes 4 HOURS on Halo Infinite in preparation for an upcoming Halo tournament.
Maybe he'll come to HIVE and be the 1st rapper with his own Web3 gaming community...we take gaming serious here!
