Soulja Boy recently teamed up with Alive Shoes, a footwear brand launchpad, to release his new footwear line Soulja Stars.
Soulja Boy is relentless at expanding his brand. Just in the past couple years we've seen him make moves in everything from gaming, to crypto, all the way to the soap industry. Now he's taking a shot in the footwear business by partnering up with Alive Shoes to release Soulja Stars.
The Soulja Stars come in 3 different colorways, "Money", "Gum" and "Stars". The shoe itself is a laceless high-top that features leather uppers and velcro star-studded straps. The sneakerhead in me likes the "Money" green pair.

With it being so hard to get attention on a new line in the sneaker industry, I wonder what methods his team plan on using to get some traction. Being that he's already had an NFT drop I think it would have been cool to NFT the sale of the physical shoe and accompany it with a digital version that can be worn in Cryptovoxels or Decentraland or something. Seems like a no-brainer that could reel in some of Big Draco's gaming community.
