Description from Strava: An unusually busy Saturday took me out to two appointments before the recording of the Creative Work Hour podcast episode 71, which was then followed by even another appointment!
Afterward, I tried my best to do some work on a post about my time in Kraków, but my brain simply stopped cooperating, at least as far as creative work goes.
But I began to crave the wine & snack pairings offered at LATITUDE, which is just a five minute walk from my flat here at the edge of the city centre.
First photo:
Even though I didn’t have a reservation, I scored a table for one , where I enjoyed a fab glass of Beaujolais Nouveau.
Second photo:
I couldn’t very well simply have that glass of wine by itself, so I ordered Gildas, pronounced “Hildas”, a favourite of Basque Pintxo menus.
My small plate had four skewers of green olives, brown anchovies & pickled guindilla chilli’s. Whooo! Tangy!!! 😖
Third photo:
It was a surprise to feel warm fur on my leg. I looked down and there was “Bear.” He wasn’t too sure about the couple who just got seated, but I felt safe!
Overall, it was a demanding day, but it ended beautifully with a damn fine Beaujolais! 🍷

About the Athlete: Alessandra's made some cray-cray changes and set new goals in her life recently. One of those is to improve my enjoyment of being fully human (or feline works, too) and to highten my senses with imagination and wonder.
