I'm trying to get better at making messes.
At realising that I've made a mistake but not quitting.
At recognising that I don't have to get it perfect, I don't have to do it right, I just have to keep trying.
Even when I make messes.
(I didn't train her this morning. But we did do a walk here this afternoon. It was beautiful.)
I'm doing a simple 5 km run training plan based on the work of Jeff Galloway that I've accessed through Garmin Connect.
I'm setting my goal very low so it should be highly achievable and just get me running a little more often.
5km. parkrun. With a time goal. 25:00.
Today, I was supposed to do:
5 min warm up
1.6 km Run/Walk
5 min cool down.
But I'm still learning how to use my new watch properly. And how to access the training sessions properly. And I ran 5 minutes easy without it counting it in my session!

So I saved the workout. Found my planned session. And started again!
Luckily, the session wasn't a hard one. And it all worked out well in the end. I wasn't sure how long to run and walk for. Or how hard to push. So I just made it up! As you can see below 👇

Not too shabby for a woman who hasn't run all that much in... years.
How is your training going? Give me a quick update or (after you've given this post an upvote 😆) feel free to share a link to a training session you've done recently that you'd like me to read about 👇
