Today was a swap exercise for last Saturday. Tempo intervals, 4 x 8 minutes.
I went down to river Sava to see how the banks have stood the test of the flood. Quite good, surprisingly. Mots of the recreational path on both sides of the river is still there and fairly intact. It was a stroke of luck that high water simply flooded and flowed over the banks not creating any swirls and causing major damage. In many parts of the country people weren't so lucky :(

It felt that yesterday was a long run. Legs were weak but the head was strong. What I like is pace consistency of tempo sections: 5:38, 5:37, 5:46, 5:31. in the end, during cooldown and additional mileage I lost it a bit. Long term endurance is not there yet. Working on it every day!
