Description from Strava: I ran the first 18k with super pacers Conrad Langridge and Dan Reynolds. It was great to have someone to chat to and distract from all the hills. They paced it perfectly which is a tough job! I was feeling surprisingly good in the last couple of kilometres so I let my legs go so my last k was a speedy 4:49 🙂 Good training for ironman (pushing on when my legs were tired) and a bit of a confidence boost for the race in 20 days!!!! It was, as always, great to see so many familiar faces out on the course. James McGlinn and Vince Sesto smashed it! So awesome to see running and can't wait to see you in Taupo in 3 weeks! Cool to catch up with Bridget Lawrence and Mandy Donald too and run with them for a bit. Half marathon done!
