Description from Strava:
Happy Halloween, whatever that means. It is a strange festival, but I'm not against people having a little fun.
Meanwhile I needed to get a run done. I was fairly busy at work, but got out at lunch time. The weather was pretty good with lots of fallen leaves as the trees change colour.
This time I made it up to Fairlands Valley Park this time. It really is up as you have to climb about 30m. I saw another runner up there who came past me, but went a different way. I could 'enjoy' the downhill return trip. There is another climb at the end though.
I use the Garmin app on my phone, but that is really only to get my activities from my watch to Strava. They do some badges, including the Halloween one.
I am happy with my pace today. It is better than other recent training runs. We are doing a charity month at work where we try to clock up extra exercise distance and so I hope to do more running in November.
As the clocks have changed it is dark when I come home now. There were lots of little kids out in their costumes today. My kids have grown out of that, but then my son still carved some pumpkins.
Run free and watch out for the ghosts!
