Description from Strava:
The weather has been pretty warm for late October with the odd drop of rain. Today it was not looking too bad at lunch time. I fancied a chance of route and so headed for Stevenage old town. This was the home of Vincent Motorcycles until 1955. There is a plaque for that and also one for racer George Brown who worked there. A friend's grandfather also worked there.
I carried on towards the hospital. Stevenage has lots of busy roads, but also lots of underpasses. I knew there was a way through the estate near the hospital to get over the railway and I managed to find it after consulting the map.
I was trying to stay away from the main roads and so looped around one of the big estates where it was a little quieter. The paths are thick with autumn leaves.
The last part was along a busy road and past Costco that is also always busy. We shop there sometimes.
It was not a bad run overall. I hope to be back at parkrun on Saturday.
Run free and live well.
