just finished a 5.88km run, that lasted for 36 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 441.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
We have been getting a bit of rain lately, but this morning was looking good for a run. I have had a couple of late nights this week and that tends to mess me up a bit so I was not feeling at my very best. I wanted to run anyway.
It was my standard intervals run up the little hill near us. The pace was not too bad, but I would like to improve on it.
There were quite a few people walking up and down the lane that runs between Arlesey and Fairfield. I did not encounter any cars there today.
I took it easy on the way home. I was stuck by all these markings painted on the path. I have seen posts on the local Facebook about some being left by crooks to indicate good places to rob, but these will be related to work on the road, path or utilities. Those guys have their own special codes that they will understand. I am not sure what these relate to. There has been lots of digging going on lately related to all the new houses being built. Those need power, water etc. I hope the local networks can cope.
One of the guys at work just did a sponsored run with his wife. It was only 5km, but then she is totally blind, so it is an achievement.
I may not get to parkrun this weekend as we have things going on. I am nearly at 150 runs now, but I will get there soon.
Run free!
