I can't seem to stick to lower zones on my runs and end up in zone 4. I assume I get some benefit anyway.
I like my Shokz bone conduction headphones for running. They don't move and have been reliable. I like to be able to hear what's going on around me. I use them on my commute too, but then I could do with blocking out some external noise. I ought to get something else for that.
