Welcome to our weekly rewards post for .
We are over 20 users now and I have decided to extend the rewards to include the top 15 atheletes. I am also extending the prize pool from 4HBD to 5 HBD. We are seeing some awesome posts and some great content coming through with both runs and bike rides.
With the month of August 2022, the leader board is working on "Calories burned" over the week, which has really mixed things up a bit. We are rewarding the top 15 athletes with the goal of expanding this depending on usage.
We have had 46 posts this week using the service...A New PB!!!

** run.vince.run and strava2hive are organisers of the service and as a result is happy to forfiet any rewards earned and they are placed back into the pool of HDB offered to users.
The rewards currently are being done manually with the hope to automate everything in the near future once I decide specifically how it will work.
Updates For The Week
Minor changes to the reports I use to reward atheletes at the end of the week, which saves me a lot of time caclulating and working out how much everyone is getting rewarded with. As well the lovely "Frequently Asked Questions" post has been set up to hopefully help people get the information they need when they are first starting out with the service.
This week a couple of things need to happen. With the number of users coming on board, I need to start looking at some more longer term data stores for the service. There is nothing wrong with what I am using now but they are slow and slowing down the code from processing everyones activities. Secondly, it looks like Strava has cleaned up their API with respect to images and photos, so I am going to see if it is more viable allow to transfer more than one image across.
If you are interested in using the service, please access the following link from a previous post, as this will be able to give you the full details on what you need to do to get started using the service.
