Good day you all. welcome to another wonderful day. Today, I will be sharing with you my three best photos and the memories behind them.
FIRST PICTURE
This photo was taken on the 21st of July. I remember this day as though it was yesterday. The atmosphere was cheerful, filled with laughter, celebration and lots of food. The photo was taken in the reception of my HOD's wedding. We were all so happy for him for finally getting married after a long wait indeed.
The groom, the man standing right next to the bride is the president and head of the olive voices department(choir) in our church C. P. M. He is a man of integrity, a true gospel minister and very uncompromising in his standards. You can see me standing at the extreme left end of the photo on a green lace gown mixed with some black velvet at the top. The other people in the backgrounds are my colleagues in the choir department. Indeed it was a day to celebrate.
I remember how we joyfully sang a special number for him on that special occasion. The happiness I could see in his face was priceless. He danced like there was no tomorrow. We were all marvelled at how good our beloved HOD could dance. It was a pleasurable memory.
SECOND PICTURE
This picture was taken two years ago in the village. It was Xmas season and I and my family were heading to the village for a two week holiday. We were all so happy or rather excited to see our cousins we hadn't seen for a long time. Not to mention, to check out the beautiful water fall that never seems to run dry.
The excitement was all over us as we drove down to the village. Immediately we arrived at our family house I decided to take a selfie with my newly made hair then as a remembrance. Being home felt great. I basked in how the air always seemed to be so cool and rich unlike the city which was always so hot and filled with smoke, soot or dust.
As we went around the village, the air was festive, the masquerades were already dancing around the village town square. Some men were busy playing the native drum, while others were dancing to the music. Some market men and women left their goods to watch the masquerades as they danced to and fro round the village. Indeed it was a joyful christmas.
THIRD PICTURE
This picture would be the best out of the three photos for me. The fond memories and significance it holds makes it by far the best photo. It was taken some months ago, during my sister's traditional marriage. We the family of the bride were all on matching uniforms. The two men standing beside me are my brothers. While the girl in the middle is me.This was taken after the occasion had successfully ended.
I remember meeting so many new faces, family members I did know I had, and friends I hadn't seen in a long while. Preparing for the traditional marriage was not an easy task at all but is was all worth it at the end.
