I'm Out of My Shell, Thanks to Hive Ghana

I had an amazing time on Sunday during the Hive account@hive.ghana meetup.
It comes up every Sunday night.
First, this meetup has been a blessing to my journey on the hive blockchain. From the first time I joined the meeting, I concluded that I would always make it a date every Sunday.

This community meetup has brought me out of my shell. The first time, I was nominated for the vlog, it came as a shock, I had never made a video of myself before because I'm the very shy type but I couldn't say NO and I decided to try it out Hive account@awuahbenjamin reached out and provided all I needed for it. I did it and everyone that saw it said I did great. I felt good within. I was proud of myself and since then, I've been trying out other script and I believe that something huge will come out from it soon.

The next shocker came when Hive account@adetemi nominated me to be the host of the next meeting. What! I don't know what to say or do but I still couldn't say No it's one of my weakness. So, I agreed to do it.
I asked a few questions from Mr Ben and he gave me the necessary information I needed as the host.

When it was time for the meetup, I almost ran offline 😁 but as my father's daughter that I am I shook off the fear and joined the meeting.
The nice song Playing in the background first made me forget my fears not until Hive account@mcsamm told me to start the meeting reality dawned on me.

I started a little shaky, I introduced myself and told other participants to introduce themselves. We were few when we started and they all did.
The next on the agenda was the weekly community update by Hive account@bengazi123 he gave us update about the community.

My beautiful Hive account@nhaji01 talked about the hive Ghana author of the week and encouraged us to vote for our favorite author. Mcsamm gave us update about the vlog and why it was a bit delayed.

The next on the agenda was community curation. Mcsamm talked about it and told us about setting up a fanbase on the hive.vote that helps you support your favorite author whenever they published a post both when you are offline or online it votes automatically.

I was excited to learn about that. It will save me the stress of voting manually and help get higher rewards. He exposed us to a lot about the block chain and curation rewards The information was priceless and I was glad.

There were a few questions and contributions from the members present in The Meetup.
We nominated for the next week vlog and I nominated Hive account@hivesam to host the next meeting.

We all had a swell time because everyone present learned something new.
It was an honour to be your host in the last meeting. Thanks for believing in me.
