Hello friends, I’m very happy to share these pictures with you. Well they are not just pictures but something to motivate us. On my way from work today, I decided as part of the #marketFriday contribution explore the this fruits market and purchase some oranges and bananas. This is a small market at Asenua- Kumasi. I did just buy the fruits but had the chance to interact with the owner of the business. She indeed received me well, gave me some place to sit and enjoy my banana.
This gave me the opportunity to interact with her even though that wasn’t the plan at first.
But trust me what this woman said truly encouraged me as I reflect on my life.
According to her, she started this business with nothing. She has tried all possible means to find something to do for her life, so there was this woman who was seeking these fruits, so she came to the woman to assist her in selling these fruits just for free.
So the woman she was helping realized she was good with marketing and decided that she should find a place and she will set her up for her to also start selling for her own.
She hurriedly secured this current place and the woman supplied everything to her for free to sell so she could pay later. So that is how she ended up starting this business. The little help she offered to someone had made her a business owner. This concludes the fact that not every business needs capital to start. Sometimes is just by using our technical nohow but there is something most people find difficult to do.
As we purchase items from these markets women, let's also have some time to interact with them because most of their stories can change our lives for good.
Today and at this very moment, I want to celebrate all business owners out there, especially our market women for their unflinching support and dedication in always providing what we need.
Enjoying my orange juice
I hope next week too..is going to be more fun on my next episode on the #marketfriday writeup
Until then May we have a very good weekend
