March was a turning point month for me, being that I finally took the bold step and relocated.

I had needed a more relaxing and calm environment for my child as it wasn't easy joggling work and child care all by myself.

At a point my child and I started loosing weight. Not that we do not feed well, but we were stressed and overwhelmed at the same time.
My activities was intercepting with her growth/welfare, and having to always run from one end of the town to the other for school run, was starting to take a toll on my mental health.
There was a time she missed her midterm test because I could not mentally process properly what I had read.
At the time, I saw midterm break instead of midterm test. When my daughter eventually resumed school the following monday, she was the only one in school that day and the only person on uniform that morning going to school.
I was devastated when I heard the midterm break just started, as they have been doing test all along she wasn’t in school.
In the teacher's defense she said she had thought we traveled, as I had earlier told her we will be traveling and that was why she didn't call to enquire having not seen my daughter in school.
It felt like film till I went back to the school’s whatsapp group chat to confirm what I had read, and truly I saw it was midterm test and not midterm break.
I was shattered and felt like a failure but thankfully the situation was resolved.
So when the opportunity for relocation came, I jumped at it because I will not only rest but my daughter too will get to grow amongst her age group and peers.
Remember that saying if the mountain does not go to Mohammed, Mohammed will go to the mountain? that was what happened.
I had tried getting a relative to come live with me and baby sit my child but all my efforts failed. So I resorted to doing it all by myself.
We got to Delta State on Friday and spent close to an hour in traffic at Ughelli because the road is bad, plus there is an urgent need for flyover in that Otovwodo junction as that is the major culprit of the traffic jam.

on Saturday, I went to the Market where I discovered the cost of foodstuff is higher than where I am coming from.

And on Sunday, my Sister, our children and my mom all went to my Aunt's house for the Easter gbedu.
ALL IMAGES ARE MINE
We had too much to drink that there was no space left for the rice and chicken, so we did take away.
There was music and we merried. I took some pictures I had sent to another of my aunty who wasn’t present and she was really excited we get to have some family time.
She was more happy that I could be present as they’ve all been complaining bitterly on how I’m too busy for family time.
In all, March was a really good one, I bounded, I rebuilt bridges and as well burnt down old bridges that no longer serve.
