Good day, amazing people. Welcome back to my blog.
It has been an amazing week in the #hiveghana community.
Wow, the year is gradually coming to an end. It is a holiday that is full of fun and excitement. It is a holiday that we always long for. Christmas brings people from far and near to unite with their families and friends. The memories of Christmas can't be forgotten. I can still remember when, growing up, one's Christmas was coming. I will be happy because my mom will buy me new clothes and shoes. We will travel to my hometown to see Granny.
It is only during the Christmas holiday that my parents will allow us to go out with our cousins, and I enjoy their company so much.
My favorite Christmas memories
Apart from the food and meeting family members, there are many activities that make me long for Christmas.
- Carnival: I can't miss my village carnival for anything; it is a carnival that you can't afford to miss; there is a lot to eat and drink. is full of fun. Each community and group will come and display our culture. There is a lot to win. It is like a competition. Every group will put in their best. Many masquerades will display their powers. I love the masquerade and have enjoyed the masquerade Chase since I started going to this carnival. I have learned my culture.
School reunion: It is during Christmas that my school fixes a reunion. It is assumed that everyone is free and on vacation. Reunions usually start on 26 and end on 28. They are full of activities and engagement. I always hope that December will come when I get to meet my old-time friends and hang out with them. One thing about this reunion is that we will discuss ourselves and anyone who needs help or support. Every one of us longs for Christmas. One thing I love about our reunion is that we don't eat and celebrate alone. You give to those who can't afford to celebrate with us; we visit the motherless and prisoners.
For me, Christmas without my carnival and school reunion will be a boring Christmas.
