Hello Hive Ghana and my lovely Hivers.
Welcome 🤗 to my blog.
We are always quick to bash our government when they go wrong, but this week, we want to look in a different direction. What’s something the government of your country has done so far that you think deserves acknowledgment? Has it helped you or anyone you know? Has its impact shown in the statistics of your country? Share with us all the details.
Actually, the government that really pleased me was the government of Nasiru El-Rufai, the previous governor of Kaduna State. I know that some people are bashing him, and even I myself did, but whenever I look carefully, I can clearly see that he did something that we, as a nation, need to appreciate him for — his hard work.
Guys, I know you all heard about what he did, and maybe some of us have forgotten, but I am glad to remind us once again. He renewed our roads 🛣️, most especially the one from Kawo to inside town and the Kawo 🌉 bridge. That road had been the worst thing ever. In fact, many people had lost their lives because of that road. But when he came on board, the first thing he did was fix and take all the bad elements out of that road.

Talking about all the gangsters that didn’t allow people to have peace of mind in the comfort of their homes, he got rid of them. There was a time you couldn’t go to work or leave your home peacefully if you lived close to that road.
Before you know it, they could start their trouble, and anyone could be affected. They didn’t care if you were a man, woman, or child — they could stab anyone who got caught up in their mess without any form of consequences. Oh mine, that road used to be a dead zone.
We had been in that mess for such a long time before he came to help us put a stop to it. I remembered him calling on all the elders in every community, warning them to desist from spoiling his government, but then, they only listened for a while before things went wrong again.
Until he did the unthinkable by giving the order to shoot any hooligan that passed their boundaries — and that finally put a stop to their disturbances. We are so grateful to him.
We also appreciate our soldiers who have been helpful to us through our governments.
As for this new government, things are not too bad — at least the price of food is coming down every single day. Things are getting better, but you see, this subsidy thing isn’t changing at all. Please, our government should put more effort into what they are doing so that our country will be 👍 better.
And I think we, as citizens of Nigeria, should acknowledge all the hard work of our government.
Thank you for reading ❤️
