The Harsh Reality of Living on Minimum Wage :
_________________________________________
Pakistan is a developing country grappled with inflation, corruption and lawlessness. The minimum wage in Pakistan is 32000 declare by Government but in the private sector a large number of workers earns less than 30k. The cost of food, housing, transportation, health care and education is increasing day by day. According to my observation and experience the cost of living of a two/three members family is 60k monthly and if the wage of breadwinner of the family is 30k then they have to neglect on education, health care and food quality.

Navigating Life on a Low Wage in Pakistan: A Personal Account :

When everyone is affected by imbalance between cost of living and low wage, I have no exception. I received 3$ wage daily from my job as a teacher and I spent 0.50$ in transportation daily. The remaining is contributed to pay for housing and other expenses. I have to give up on many things and spend on what is necessary. To manage on low wage I have to follow useful economic tools i.e budgeting, minimalism and cutting down expenses. There are many people who are living in more worse condition. They don't have access to basic needs of life even.

Government of Pakistan need to introduce profound and practical financial policy. There should be regular adjustment of subsidies for public coping with low wage. Government should introduce housing projects for homeless. The private sector should also be bound to pay the wage declared by government. Transparency of public support program should be assured. Free health care and education should make accessible to public generally.
