It was Thursday, October 16th, and I was busy at work when Ofonime Edet walked into my office with a bright smile on his face. He handed me his phone, and I couldn't help but notice the excitement in his eyes.
"What's the occasion?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of me. "Today marks exactly three days to our first wedding anniversary" he replied, beaming with pride. "My wife and I are planning to celebrate it in a big way, and I need your help with a little project." I nodded, intrigued. "What do you need me to do?"
Ofonime explained that he wanted me to design a custom jotter using some of their favourite pictures which they just snapped. He had already selected the photos and was ready to transfer them to me.
As he transferred the soft copies of the pictures to my computer, I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and nostalgia. The photos depicted special moments from their first year of marriage - laughter, adventures, quiet moments, and celebrations. With the pictures in hand, l got to work on designing the jotter.
I chose a beautiful layout, added some heartfelt quotes, and made sure the photos were prominently displayed.
Fast forward to yesterday, Saturday, October 18th, I handed over the finished jotters to Ofonime. He was thrilled with how they turned out, and I could tell he couldn't wait to share them with his guests.
Today, October 19th, is the big day - Ofonime and his wife's first wedding anniversary. I imagined the joy and love that fills the air as they are celebrating this milestone with their friends and family.
As they shared the custom jotters with their guests, I knew that the memories of their special day would be treasured for years to come. It was a small but meaningful way to commemorate their first year of marriage, and I feel grateful to have been a part of it.
