I got pregnant during the pandemic year 2020, I got pregnant almost immediately after marriage although I would have loved to have some time to process the new phase of been a wife but I'm still grateful I got to experience my motherhood journey at of that time. I was a bit worried when i got pregnant as I have heard a lot of tales about pregnant women and the stress involved in birthing a child and i prayed to God that my case will be different and indeed it was different, two major symptoms i dislike in pregnant women is splitting and vomiting. All through my pregnancy period i didn't get to experience that at all which gave me the confidence that God answered my prayers.
The other day I was going through some photo album and I took some pictures. I had a lot of nostalgia feelings, one of the reason I decided to write about this post. My pregnancy period was with ease but I added some weight and my face change completely that make it had for some people to even recognize me hahahahaha. My daughter's due date was 1st of August 2020 but she couldn't wait to see us so she came a day earlier. So I got to see my bundle of joy on the 31st of July 2020 and the first thing she did was to pee on my body. lol
looking back now and cant believe its been almost 3 years now, funny how time flies. I remember that day vividly and it still feels like yesterday. I started having contraction in the early hour of 30th of July 2020 but been a first time mum I didn't know it was contraction until it got stronger. My husband and I went to the hospital around 8pm but was told I was just 2cm dilated, so we were asked to go back home and come back the next morning. We went back the next morning and with an hour stay in the hospital I had my baby miraculously without much stress like i prayed for.
Its been three years down the line with another baby experience but that first experience is something that I will remember forever and my baby will be three next month. I am forever grateful to God for the privilege to be a mother to this amazing kid. She looks so tiny when she was born but look at her now growing strong and healthy day by day.
