One thing I like about photos or pictures it that they make memories come alive - good and back alike.
I love taking pictures, infact it's become sort of a routine. No day passes without me doing the snap snap thingy, lol. It can be of myself or just anything that catches my fancy. My phone memory is screaming for space, yet I wouldn't stop. What is life without capturing beautiful memories in photos.
Pickibg just three photos out of the hundreds of beautiful, captivating photos I have both in my phone storage and memory card wasn't such an easy take but I just had to make a choice. So I did "tum bom tum bom" (guess picking) and these ones I'm about to share with you turned out to be the lucky ones. I don't want to call them my favorites so other ones won't be mad at me, lol. So here we go....
First Pick - African Beauty
See the cool and enchanting smile that matches with the pretty eyes, 🥰. I just love the poise. Looking at this photo you will notice the aura of positivity, confidence and resilience.
It was taken by one of my cousins who was learning photography some years ago. I told him to let me model for him to try out his skills and this was one of the many shots he took. I was wowed seeing the outcome of the pictures, and today he's doing very well in photography.
Second Pick - My Parents.
Each time I look at this photo, I can't help but feel the love that still exist between these two. It's contagious, I tell you. It was taken on the day of their golden jubilee celebration, 20th July, 2020. It shows 50 years of commitment, love, trust, joy, understanding, sacrifice, misunderstanding, pain, and waging through all the storms of marriage.
I'm just grateful to God for having such an amazing parents.
Third Pick - My Birthday
One memorable thing about this photo is that I was not only celebrating my birthday but also of surviving the Covid 19 pandemic. Many people contacted the virus, some couldn't survive it and passed away. Some even died due to the hardship at that time but never did any of these happen to me. I survived it all. So it was a great opportunity to celebrate with family and friends and to thank God for keeping me safe through the pandemic. Funnily it was my first time of cutting a birthday cake, and I was so excited about it. Don't blame me, I wasn't privileged to have all those birthday party stuffs while growing up. 😂.
Okay, here's where I will end it. Do tell me the photo you like most.
