The Easter holidays are over now and as is expected, most of us are back to default. Now, we are stuck on our bank apps looking at our account balance and wondering where all the money went. I’m here to tell you the money went nowhere. You didn’t make any wrong transactions and no one scammed you also. It was all you. All the money you can’t find or seem to be able to account for was spent by you- probably in a club somewhere or something else.
But yeah, I know you had a time of your life as did I. But what makes us two different people is the fact that I’m not wondering where my money went but you are and that’s because you didn’t plan well. As an individual, your finances are part of the things in your life to pay so much attention to because having no money is stressful. And that’s what planning is important- it’s a sign that you’re financially responsible.
I knew I had a lot of plans for the holiday and I didn’t want to end up spending all my money on having fun. And so I allocated money for everything I was planning on doing over the holidays. I made sure to spend within that budget and also had a contingency plan in case of anything. At the end of all the fun, I realized I hadn’t even spent as much as o had expected. I had a lot of fun even though I chose to go to budget friendly places and events.
This is to give you a few tips for your next holidays or vacation. Make sure to have a budget, plan around it and make sure to stay within it. Don’t let anyone influence you to spend money you don’t have. If they’re willing to fund you , why not but if you can’t afford it, you have no business around it. Live within your means but still have fun. Life is meant to be enjoyed but as you enjoy, remember to also be financially responsible and that starts with you. Spend and live within your means because we see you having fun and posting- if you need money from us who stayed at home we sure won’t give you.
