They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. But I can’t say that was the situation in the case of our brother 
If you know me, you’d know I usually act like a hard girl but I’m such a lover girl on a normal day. I’m always amazed by how love can make one act. Yesterday, I came across a meme which said that to be in love, you must have lost all sense you have. Indeed, love makes us act in all manners. People would go to the end of the world just for love. But oh, I’m talking about the olden days.
Do we even really know what love is in this era? Do we know what real love feels like? Or we make love to be what we think it is. I guess everyone has his own definition of love but generally, I think we would all agree that love is one that doesn’t falter.
I’m no love doctor but it’s more than obvious that I’m not lucky with love and so I’d rather leave it to my friends, 
But then, I don’t really know if my dear friends would prefer to be in long distance relationships or not because in Ghana, most people believe that long distance relationships are just a joke. I believe this has to be because of what people have experienced. Most youth are scared to be in long distance relationships because you’d be somewhere thinking your partner is thinking about you day and night when in actual fact, they already have a replacement for you. We’ve heard and seen so many of such cases. This has made most people scared of being in long distance relationships but the funny part is, even those in short distance relationships get cheated on. It’s the same story on both sides.😅
To me, it doesn’t really matter if one is in a short or long distance relationship because I believe that love is trust. I wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with someone who would constantly have me doubting them. It’s more like you never have peace of mind when you’re away from them because you can’t seem to get yourself to trust them.
With love comes great responsibility. I bet you even partners who stay just houses away have to put in the work to make it work. Though , most of us have been made to believe that long distance relationships require so much effort while short distance relationships do not. Sorry to burst your bubble but they both do. Maybe, that’s why your short distance relationship is not working. Try putting in the work and you’d be back with your testimony.
Being in a relationship is all about being committed. No matter the distance, if you’re both willing to make it work then it would. It’s not only one persons job to make the relationship work. It’s more of a collective effort from both parties. But personally, I don’t think I have a preference between long distance and short distance relationships. You never know where you would find love and so we should be open for anything, including being served breakfast.😂
