If there is an important lifestyle to embrace by everyone, then it's hygiene and sanitation, which are very vital. It doesn't matter how rich or poor you are, no! Everyone can actually practice this without limitations or excuses, unless you are among the set of people that has the mentality that dirt doesn't kill.
You know, when you mix with certain individuals, you may find out that their mentality towards cleanliness is just so odd and baffling. I was opportune to observe a friend and a customer make doughnuts, the ones she usually sells every morning in her shop, and surprisingly, I have been eating nonsense unaware. My God!!... on the large chopping board where she rolls and mixes her chops, you could see decayed debris hanging by the corners; the bowl she uses to scoop water and mix egg and whatever is like something they picked from the shrine, so dirty and disgusting.
I mean, isn't it clear enough that dirt attracts germs and is unhealthy? That's by the way, but that's my end of patronage to her. At least I was privileged to see her unhygienic practice, but what about other people I buy edibles from that I am not aware of their level of hygiene? No wonder some persons wouldn't eat anything outside except in a trusted mall where hygiene speaks visibly.
The thing is that a lot of diseases can be prevented by some hygiene practices and sanitation. You just need to implement some measures. Having said that, Some of the hygienic hacks that work for my family and me are, one, constant hand washing.
This might sound so common, but hold on, we move around, touch objects here and there, touch public door handles, exchange money, and more, right? These contacts are the simplest ways through which we come in contact with germs that we cannot see with our naked eyes. The manner in which I take hand washing seriously in my home—even my unborn baby would have learned these strict, constant hand washing rules, lol.
What about our fruits and veggies? No matter how neat it looks, thorough washings with is a must do before use in my home. You can't eat your food half way and leave it uncovered for flies to touch it. No, just no! Again, more often, I make sure to use disinfectants to sanitize regular-use tools in my home and door handles. Our personal hygiene is not left out; our dressings and underwear must be thoroughly washed without repeating dirty wears. Mopping my floor too is still done with disinfectants; the restroom as well is constantly disinfected to combat the level of germs capable of attacking our health. My waste too is not left out; I ensure to pay for those responsible to clear it all.
All these simple practices are not hard to carry out, and regularly observing these helps us to stay healthier without many hospital trips due to infections caused by unhygienic practices.
