Hello there! Meet Kai
I am a fifth-year medical student with a deep love for and passion about clinical practice and research but more passionate about research. It is my desire to contribute to ever-groundbreaking discoveries, most especially in microbiology, finding which organisms cause diseases and how to eradicate them, or research in neurobehavioral science, to study the human brain and, most importantly, find the cause of mental disorders and their treatment. When the time comes I will decide on which path I will fully commit. I see research as the foundation on which Medicine as a program of study can evolve and improve the healthcare system. I am a lifelong learner, a teacher, a leader, and someone who genuinely wants to make a difference.
On here, we will talk more about the medical school journey (which is not an easy one, tough, but our God is tougher). Currently in my fifth year specializing in Obstetrics and Gynaecology so I will be sharing more on that field, women's reproductive organs and health, care of pregnant women and delivery of babies, of course we will also explore other medical topics along the way.
Beyond medicine, I love cooking, photography (yes, mostly pictures of myself), singing and oh yes, I spend most of my time studying. I use to be a public speaker, but well, life happens. At my free time I assist in community outreach programmes. At heart I value genuine growth, both personal and professional. I embrace challenges as means to learn and improve on myself.
The goal is not just be a doctor but to create lasting and meaningful impact in Medicine through research and a long-term commitment to continuous learning, innovation and renovation.
A wholehearted thank you to ,
