What will people say? This statement has held some people in bondage for decades, and were unable to free themselves from it. They can't live the life they wanted because of what people will say. This set of people restricted themselves from doing things that make them happy all in the name of "what will people say" if they see me doing this. Oga come down from that bus, people will always see something to say whether you do good or bad they will talk. You're the one to free yourself from the trap you keep yourself. Come let me tell you a little story of mine. I was so gullible and naive back then, and also a shy person. People treat me like a trach does all sorts of things to me but I won't say anything or retaliate even though I was angry, I soak all the insults inside of me like a foam digged in water. The only place I could talk back is when I am at home, but one day I decided not to continue ensuring this rubbish. It was not easy at first but I tried and God helped me out.
You see I get to know later that people will treat you the way you want to be treated. You don't have to have money before they treat you well, there is a saying that " whatever you won't accept when you're rich you start rejecting it from now that you're poor. Give yourself some value, forget about what people will say. I can remember the school I was teaching back then my madam will always call me anytime she wanted to come help her do something even outside of work period and I won't be able to say no, this continue for many months until one day she was like, guy how far am busy can you have me to do so, so and so I am busy and won't be chance to go do it myself knowing fully well that she's going nowhere. She knew I won't reject as I have always obeyed like a lap down. I was contemplating within myself should I, should I not? Afraid of what she will say or not offending her. All of a sudden I just took courage to tell I can't because I am not Chanced also, she gave a series of excuses to make me change my mind to accept the offer , but I still stood my stand that I am not doing cause I am not available.
After some time dragging it she was now like okay let me call someone to ask if that person will be available, I was like so you get another person wey you fit call. Oh! And believe me that's how I ended up not doing what she wanted me to do. Later on I noticed nothing happened and that's how I learned to say no. So friends drop from that bus of what will people say today if not you will become just a toy in the hands of people. And they will abandon you after use cause they will see you as use thing only. So free yourself today from this men pleaser lifestyle and you will be free for life, if you're finding it difficult to do ask God for help He will come true for you.
