Before we come to the name “distractions” it starts somewhere. Not that the fun things we engage our selves to do are bad but misplacing it with what is supposed to be done at a time makes it a distraction.

Thanks to the #hiveghana moderators and admins for a topic like this. Which every one can relate.
One true fact about distraction is that we can't actually be distracted by what we don't love, yeah the things we love doing are the distractions itself, there are so many ways people get distracted which depends on the interest they find in doing those things. So what are we talking now, understanding that distractions come naturally in everyone's life enables us to tackle it the way it should.
Well I woke up this morning picked up my phone with the intention of making a post early morning but immediately I turn on my data which I was supposed to come on ecency, that was the same time I received a notification from Facebook showing a new message from one of my friend, I had to click on it to view what was there unfortunately before I could realize I have spent like two (2) good hours on Facebook alone in the morning but this was the same time I could have use to make a post or do any other thing so one can outrightly say I was distracted
Here are some reasons: we get distracted by things that we love because our brains are programmed to respond to things that give us joy. That's why I said earlier that distractions come naturally. Studies have made us know that our brain releases dopamine neurotransmitters that only has to do with pleasure and motivations which at times is difficult to control.
I personally get distracted by the internet and gaming both on phone and console eventhough

responsibility have tried curtailing it in so many occasions and I know so many people are also in this same cycle. This can actually be related making it looks like everyone is living a similar life, so I have no choice but find a way to set this things on the right time it's supposed to be.
And I strongly believe if I can stick to always reflecting on my goals and progress I can get ride of distractions because will know that this is way I'm supposed to be but I'm not there as result of distractions. This has been helping me for some time now to fall back on track when I tend to be distracted.
Secondly I have also observe that whenever I stop doing a thing I will find difficult to start or continue from where I stop, sometimes I always struggle to complete it I'm saying from my personal experience so what I do I try and make sure I complete what ever I have at hand to avoid being distracted.
This is just me and what distracts me
Everyone gets distracted in one way or the other but finding the best way to manage it keeps us going.
