MUMBLE MUMBLE
Lately I've been thinking on how cool would be to upload the games directly on the blockchain, I think would be amazing to have a feat like this on Hive. Recently I have been translating my games into web version, I really like that a gamer would not have to fumble too much with files and downloads and be ready to play as soon as it wants. So after I packed the version I tried to upload the widget on a post here on Hive. I knew that it would not work but tried anyway, this kind of extension don't work on here.
Lately I have been reading a lot about marketing Hive to new users and this idea took strenght.
Gaming as a whole is probably the thing that is getting bigger and bigger yearly, probably the only thing that is getting close to blockchains considering growth. Why not taping toghether this two rolling boulders?
MARKETING DREAMS
Many portals for small indie games are getting much more traction by the day, replacing those old java and flashgames sites and adding a new layer to it, it's an ever expanding universe and I think every amateur gamedev would love a reward system like the one on this blockchain, I think it suit really well devlog and give incentive to developers to show their learning process, there's so many skills to learn and a wide variety of approches that is always interesting to read and share.
TO THE POINT
Now I know really little about web design and interface and the same goes with blockchain application. I'm learning to use them but I don't have a clue how something like that would work. But do you think would be possible to make on top of hive a portal where to upload games, web version and downloadable ones to an interface dapp similar to the ones of NFTshowroom or Ecency?
I think it would be a great way to make Hive more appetible to users of sites like Itch.io, Gamejolt etc etc. and to embark more users to this new game development community!
Have a gooddays boys and girls, I'm off to some more dreams now :D
