I haven't been keeping track of the NBA as much as I did a few years ago, but I am still a fan most definitely. I am a 76ers fan!
I have always been a big fan of Ben Simmons! People say he can't shoot, and perhaps there is some truth to that, but there really isn't anything else he can't do on the basketball court if you ask me. He can drive and finish at the rim. He's big, strong, and athletic. He's smart, he can pass, and play great defense. He plays with effort. He's a pretty humble guy overall.
He's a stud! I believe in a way he is taken for granted and hated on a bit too much just because he isn't the greatest shooter. Ben Simmons really significantly helped the Sixers turn the franchise around!
Some might also say that Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons don't compliment each other enough, but I believe they are great together. Two powerful big forces. They both don't really hide their gameplan. They both play big and play at the rim often, of course I'm just saying in general. Add shooters around them, and the team is a problem. They are indeed a problem especially in 2021.
In four years of experience playing in the league Ben Simmons is a superstar and has already accomplished the following:
- 3x All-Star
- 1x Third Team All-NBA
- 1x First Team All-Defensive
- 2018 NBA Rookie of the Year
- Career Averages of 16.1 PPG, 8.2 RPG, and 7.8 AST per game over 265 games
At only 24 years old he still has a lot more time to improve more!
