Rafael Furcal was a mainstay on the Braves throughout much of the 2000's. Furcal played shortstop for the team from 2000-2005. As a rookie in 2000 Furcal won Rookie of the Year and in 2003 he was an All-Star. Every season Furcal was with the Braves, the Braves were N.L. East Champions.
Furcal then played six seasons with the Dodgers where he was named to one more All-Star team in 2010. He was traded to the Cardinals in 2011 where he won his first and only World Series! Then in 2012 with the Cardinals he went to his final All-Star game.
Furcal had an injury in 2013, played just nine games for the Marlins in 2014 and eventually retired in 2015.
Besides that tiny stint with the Marlins, Furcal was named an All-Star for every one of the teams he played for. He retired with 113 home runs, 1,817 hits and a batting average of .281. He also had 314 stolen bases.
