Similar to the old game board company Milton Bradley, Milton Bradley the baseball player knew how to game!
Milton had a really solid career from 2000-2011 and was even an All-Star in 2008 in his one and only season with the Rangers. He had a career year that season and only played in 126 games. That year Milton had 22 home runs and 77 RBIs while maintaining an excellent .321 batting average. He even received a few MVP votes that season.
2008 was Milton's only season he reached 20+ home runs but Milton had some steady consistent power. He put up double digit home run totals every season from 2003-2009, averaging 14.7 homeruns a season in that time. He was also injured often throughout those seasons. From 2005-2007 Bradley played only in an average of 77 games.
Bradley ended up playing for the Indians, Athletics, Dodgers, Expos, Mariners, Rangers, Padres and Cubs. He retired with 125 home runs, 481 RBIs and a .271 batting average.
I remember this play well!! This ball just bounced off Milton's bat CLEAN!
