Can't beat a Phillies card. I gotta collect them all in one binder or box one day.
Randy Wolf was a starting MLB pitcher for sixteen years from 1999-2015, he didn't play in 2013.
I remember Randy Wolf well from his years as a starting pitcher for the Phillies. He was drafted by the Phillies in 1997, and worked his way to the pros in 1999. He remained a Phillie until 2006 which stinks for Wolf since the Phillies would have several special seasons of good baseball starting in 2007. But Wolf still had his best season as a pro in 2003 when he went 16-10 and was named an All-Star for the one and only time in his career. In general, Wolf was about a .500 pitcher overall.
Wolf would go on to play a good while longer, playing for the Dodgers, Padres, Astros, Brewers, Orioles, Marlins, and Tigers.
He retired with a 133-125 record, a 4.24 ERA and 1,814 strikeouts.
Wolf retired as a Phillie in 2016!
