Amos Zereoue enjoyed a solid college career as a running back at West Virginia from 1996-1998, where he rushed for 1,000 yards a season. He rushed for 3,000 yards combined in 1997 and 1998.
Amos was then drafted in the third round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1999 NFL Draft.
Amos would go on to play in the NFL for seven seasons, for the Steelers, Raiders, and Patriots. He appeared in 84 games and and started 17 times. He also played in four more playoff games, while starting three of those.
Amos didn't have an elite career but he had a few productive seasons from 2001-2004. His best season came in 2002 when he had 1,103 yards from scrimmage and four rushing touchdowns.
On average, from 2001-2004, Amos had about 788 yards from scrimmage and about 3 touchdowns a season. He retired after the 2005 season.
Looking at his career overall, Amos Zereoue definitely had a lot of success playing football, even if he wasn't a straight up superstar.
