Runelvys's career sadly was cut short by injury, but he did have great potential and had some nice little moments in his career that are admirable.
Hernandez played with the Royals from 2002-2006 although he missed 2004 due to injury. He had a stint with the Astros in 2008 before ultimately retiring. He did go on to have a stint in Korean Pro Baseball but only appeared in a handful of games.
His best season came in 2003 when he went 7-5 with a 4.61 ERA. He retired with a 25-36 record, a 5.50 ERA and 246 strikeouts.
In 2006, Hernandez threw a complete game shutout against the Blue Jays, defeating star pitcher Roy Halladay in the process. That's probably the highlight of his career overall.
