Man, oh man. What a legend this guy is.
You certainly don't have to be a basketball fan to know who LeBron James is.
Frankly, you MUST be living under a rock if you've never heard of LeBron James. The guy is a mega superstar.
It feels pretty silly to even try and begin to summarize his career. Most respectable sports fans know the gist of Lebron's career. Even if I attempted to summarize his career it would probably be the longest post I've ever written. He's accomplished a lot and he's been in the spotlight since basically middle school.
Simply put, LeBron is arguably the greatest basketball that's ever lived. Putting him less than #3 ever seems pretty dumb, overall.
For practically my ENTIRE life LeBron has just been dominating the NBA. Scoring, passing, rebounding. Simply gliding all over the court with strength and grace and great basketball IQ. Playoffs year after year. He's won several Championships. Countless awards, countless jerseys sold, countless of commercials/endorsement deals.
The guy is practically a billionaire at this stage of his career.
LeBron is so famous that, by simply saying 'LeBron' anywhere on earth, everyone knows exactly who you're talking about. First name basis fame.
I don't agree with much of Lebron's politics off the court. But overall, one of the most impressive things about LeBron is that, he does seem like a morally decent, and kind man. Seems like a good father. It's impressive because well, it's good to be a nice person, but also it's impressive because LeBron has had immense pressure to be the next great NBA player since middle school. Then of course he was a multi millionaire as basically a high school/college aged man. LeBron had every excuse to wilt under the pressure and be a disappointment, or a drug addict or in jail etc. But the guy never really had any kind off of the court issue that I can ever remember.
All in all LeBron is just a phenomenal athlete and I'm definitely lucky I got to watch him play this long.
As shocking as this may seem, I'm pretty sure this is my first ever LeBron card. I feel pretty silly, but I never really collected too many basketball cards growing up!
What a sharp looking card. A nice space theme to it, but it's not heavily space themed to the point it seems silly. I actually love it. A sharp card for my first LeBron!!!! Cards have come a long way in terms of cool graphics!
I'm not going to label EVERY SINGLE one of Lebron's impressive NBA stats, that would truly take me all night. But I will simplify it a bit.
LeBron has played 19 seasons, for three different teams (CLE, MIA, LAL).. He's played in 1,366 games, averaging over 38 minutes a game. Some of Lebron's stats and accolades include:
- 4x NBA Champion
- 18x NBA All-Star
- 27.1 Points Per Game
- 7.5 Rebounds Per Game
- 7.4 Assists Per Game
- 1.6 Steals Per Game
- MANY NBA Records
- EASY Future Hall of Famer
LeBron will probably hold many major NBA Records when it's all said and done for his career, including becoming the NBA's all time leader in points scored.
The guy is simply a generational talent, and then some. He probably could have played professionally in any sport he decided to choose as a youngster.
This card was a great find out of this recent pack I bought!
What a special find. My first LeBron card!! Feels pretty special not gonna lie!
What do you think of Lebron's career and this card?
