How early is too early to get up.
There is a lovely part of the morning where nobody else is up that most people only discover when they have a small baby.
Because there is no good reason to be getting up out of bed at 4am, 5am, sometimes 6 or 7am until you have a small baby that decides it's time to get up at all of these unholy hours of the morning.
Other than that why would I be getting out of my nice warm bed before 8am after just a few hours of sleep? It just wouldn't happen.
But there are benefits to getting up at these hours.
Apart form the screechy baby trying to pull at every cable in the living room and climbing up my leg there is a lot of peace to it as well.
Sitting here while it's dark outside. The rest of the house is sleeping and there is nobody moving outside is a very peaceful time. An in a small house with two kids there are very few peaceful times.
So like with the markets or life itself. It's important to take the positives from any situation.
It gives me a chance to have some alone time, to open the laptop or like this morning to watch a bit of my tv. I turned it on and found a live ladies rugby match between ENG and NZ at the rugby world cup. The standard isn't as good as the mens sport but it's fast and exciting so I enjoy the openness of the game. It's a really good one as well. A red cards, tries coming in from all angles and non stop action. It's sport should be.
It's lovely to sit here with a hot cup of tea and watch as the early morning light rolls in and a new day starts. Even if the screechy baby is still screeching and i'm only running on a couple of hours sleep it's the nicest part of the day.
