Good day, hey hey, Animek here with a new update about my Splinterlands account where I learned a few things. As I kept playing, I was stacking points, and then I moved up to Bronze 3 where I ran into stronger cards. After checking some blogs I noticed it was about card levels that can be upgraded. I don’t remember that being in the tutorial, but I guess I wouldn’t have learned it otherwise.
So I decided to buy some cards with the Hive I earned from my blogs 😎. I went to check prices on some game pages. They all show up on the official game site in the market section at the bottom of the page. I wanted to level up Kanaaqq Miner — it’s a card I like, its playstyle and annoying ability were what killed me the most, so I decided to upgrade this card first. That’s why I bought the cards needed to combine.
When I finally did it, I wanted to test it out but ran into another dynamic: you can’t use higher‑level cards if your avatar card isn’t leveled. So I had to go back to the market, this time to look for an avatar. I went for the fire element, one of my favorites.
So I started learning about card requirements, rarities, costs, and more. Now I had more cards for my avatar Barthalamas, and everything was ready to combine and get better combat power.
Since there were lots of cards at different prices, I had to buy each one separately at different costs. But it was necessary because I wanted to upgrade the card right away and not wait longer.
I battled a few fights with my new cards, which brought me victories to complete the daily win quest. That’s how I got a new card: Grimmermancer.
The death element is another one I like, so I bought Lenore Nevermore. This card has beaten me a lot; it wasn’t part of the starter cards I got. I discovered it in battles where my enemy had it, so I took a screenshot to look for it later.
I bought a bunch of cards, improved my starter deck a bit, and luckily the cards weren’t expensive. I managed to build something stronger to fight in my daily battles. So now it’s time to play and keep saving to buy more cards.
