It happened, she knew it did, but Diana didn't just care. All that matters to her right now is food but she knew she could not walk out of her mother's sight especially when she could see her vein protruding as she spoke.
A deep sigh left Diana's lip and she touched her Mum's hand to speak. The woman needs to be calm as she can't lose another person. Her heart will shatter completely if she does.
"I understand you Ma" Diana's voice came out. "But, everyone has the right to their privacy, and whoever invades it should bear the consequences attached to it."
Arms Akimbo, her mother shook her head in denial but before she could speak, Diana's stomach rumbled, and all words were lost.
"There is food in the kitchen". She heard her mother say.
As she walked towards the kitchen, she met with her sister whose emotions depict payback. Her eyes were frightening but that didn't stop the strange laugh that left Diana's lips.
Her sister does look like a clown and the change in her hair color did more justice to that.
After their father died some months ago due to lung cancer, Diana was shaken. Her world became darker. He was a doctor but he always created time to teach her scientific stuff and it intrigued Diana to choose her course of being a doctor.
But, now... He is gone and she swore she was going to find the cure for cancer and this made her withdraw a bit from her sister and mother. Most of her time is spent in her room but her sister returns from school to spend summer with them is getting on her nerves.
She was always going through her things and Diana warned her countless times but the girl never understood until she decided she would make her understand clearly that she doesn't like her things scattered or trampled with.
Before Diana left home some hours ago, she mixed some dye and poured it into a bucket before she hung it on her door with a string attached to it so that whenever her sister opened the door, she would be blessed with the awesomeness of science and... It happened and it gladdens her heart.
The only painful part of the matter was that she wasn't there to experience how the liquid poured on her sister. She wished she had kept a camera somewhere to capture the moment.
After getting her food, she walked inside her room to see it the way she left it. A big sigh left her lips as she picked up the novel She was reading. It seems she won't be needing the
