I know you have a soft heart and guys with such hearts are deep lovers but know this...you did not hurt her rather she hurt you and still put the blame on you too.

Let's assume for a while that the girl that called was your ex-girlfriend, she could still have laid claim on you and believed in the relationship that you shared.
