The art
In this edition of the series I share something that we call in the 3d printed world a remix,
so basically this print is actually 4 pieces put together 3 models made by others a stand made by me and then all 4 combined together.
We have Marvin the alien keychain print test and next we got the calibration cat print and last we got the lady bod put together on a pedestal designed by yours truly in 2 minutes 🤣
So as you can probably tell I was trying to see how small I can go on the resin printer.
The pic above is with the one that came out great and another that was a bit too small and did not come out the best
The print
I am still learning about resin printing so I had a few bellow my standards prints and some of them are above although there may be a few that are not too bad
I printed them in grey water wash and clear resin, right bellow is close up with a 1x1x1cm cube I made for reference
I started out with what you see bellow I had a benchy the boat print test with it but it did not come out great so I swapped it out for the lady bod instead.
I can probably go even smaller with more tinkering and testing however even what I did was fairly smaller however as it is it's hard to see with the naked eye good think I recently got a microscope that is perfect for this.
Check out the close up's the detail is pretty crazy considering the size about 2 mm average size of these models.
It's pretty wild we can see the cat's face and it's little tail
