You see I'm not trying to bring down or sayless about one country or another,with even the fact that I have never been out of this my country before, all ideas I have about some other countries was what I heard from people that has visited or from news on social media as we all know that not all news on social media are true so I can't really stand on those ideas but nevertheless in this country that I was given birthed and grew up in, I can say Nigeria is one of the most generous country where you can easily find love, where you can easily find help not from our government but from the citizens of this country.
We are very emotional, though you might not really be helped unless they see you are dying on the hospital bed or very serious dilemma but that alone is worth to give calm that Nigerians are still kind, a dying patient that saw people stand up and saved her will forever be greatful, a disabled that was given a hand will always be greatful. A blind person can easily travel from one place to another using public transport because he or she will definitely see someone to help get to her destination. This emotional heart has now been manipulated alot nowadays using different truck to scam people and extort money form them .
The idea of charity in Nigeria started by some kind hearted people who genuinely have been helping people and decided if they make it a platform,other kind-hearted people like them who likes to help the nonprivilege can also come join them and they can achieve their aim more quickly but educated fraudsters has taken over to extort from people saying they are running a charity foundation, through the money people contribute for the victims, they spend ,they feed, and only release little to the victims.
Their aim is not to help people but to run a business that brings in profit, profit more than what they invest. There's a video trending on Facebook now where a man that runs a charity foundation was brought out by a lady that's sick and needed to do surgery, the man brought her to the screen so that people can help her with the medical fee but out fo the eight million the lady has realized from ,she came out yesterday that the man has collected 4 million naira from her, that the money for surgery is already getting down. She explained how they collect the money little by little and when she calculated it it's half of the money already.
These has now opened people's eyes that people are no more doing help but running a business, now people who really have the mind to help alone, will lose trust from people to assist them. I pray bad people don't stop good people from doing good in this country. It is well.
