Today is Children's day, a day dedicated to celebrate all children around the world. We celebrate and recognize the joy and happiness they bring into our lives. A day to celebrate the future leaders of the world in various fields such as politics, science and technology, health oil and gas, etc.
Children are the hope that our world will get better soon. Considering how the world is growing into challenges due to bad management of our resources, bad governance and insecurity, we have a bright future when we remember our children and we the youths. We posses the power to turn the world around in our numbers and put our father's wrong right.

I remember those days when I used to roll tyres in panties in my compound, climbing trees, playing ten-ten, tinko tinko and so on. The days when I break my leg or suffered some injuries and my parents would have to show me love and affection till I'm fine and boom I'm off to play again. I grew up among boys and it really influenced my playful childhood. I play football with my brothers and I could remember how we wish there was a reset button the day we broke the window louvers with ball.

Sometimes, I wish I could go back to being a child so that life will become easier. As a child you don't think about so many things - our parents do the thinking for us. But, the young shall grow.
