I just spent the last hour talking to a guy about not quitTing his day job. HA i have 2 reasons for him not to quit. He really helps me out at my job and makes it easier for me to be an employee here. So maybe I am being a little selfish. The second reason is that I feel like he is not ready. He has just made his first dollar outside of work and things he is going to the moon.
Sometimes all these gurus he follow on YT get him hyped to be his own boss and he thinks it sunflowers and roses the second you quit.
I had an Amazon business once that took off. We were selling salt lamps and were one of the firsts on amazon. We had no idea what we were doing just go lucky to be first. I almost quit my job and I had a boss talk me out of it. Lucky thing he did too because we got destroyed by competitors when they came out. Sales went to zero real fast. I hope to break out on my own but My plan to to build a steady income then leave. Maybe I just have no guts and because of that no glory.
I know a lot of entrepreneurs out there would probably disagree.
I have a ton a respect for those that go all in on their own businesses. Seriously the courage is unreal. Watching some here on $HIVE and $LEO is impressive. It’s not for me and I don’t think it’s for everyone.
Don’t get me wrong I think this kid will make it big on his own eventually I just think he should enjoy his paycheck until he has made more than 1 dollar on the side. LOL. He is only 24 and has 2 kids to take care of too.
