We made a return trip to the Longshaw Estate which is a part of the Peak District National Park and run by the National Trust.
There are lots of walks ranging from small circular walks and longer walks if you want to go further afield. It's really good for family picnics, although it's not picnic weather at the moment. Even though it was dry it was a bit overcast.
The sun broke through the clouds now and again but still a bit chilly.
There are excellent views and the estate is always well maintained.
There was no way I was going up there so stuck to flat ground.
We just did a small circular walk. I'm looking forward to when all the spring flowers break through.
