It's been so cold recently so there's still some snow and frost that hasn't thawed out. I don't like to be put off by cold weather so I had a little stroll around just to see the snow.
I never get too wrapped up as I tend to get overheated. You soon got warmed up when you've been walking around for awhile.
I bought a couple of loaves for the birds as the ponds were still frozen over, so food is limited.
The gulls were stood on the ice but as soon as they know I've got bread, they will circle me in the air until I've thrown the bread on the ground and left the area.
This is the only part of the pond that isn't iced over. All the birds will congregate in this corner so it helps to stop the ice forming.
I fed the ducks who seemed to blend in with the ground. A couple of gulls were brave enough to stand near me.
Prints in the snow .... bird, dog, hooman and a bike. It's quite slippy on the wooden walkway. I'm surprised there was no skid marks.
Just got to negotiate the corner and then I will be safe ....
