We visited Alvaston Park and had a nice relaxing day walking by the lake and river. A pair of Canada Geese have exceeded themselves this year by having at least 15 goslings.
Their mum and dad will have their work cut out protecting these little ones.
I think the mallard duck wanted some quiet time amongst the daisies.
There's lots of garlic around at the moment. It was quite pungent. Pity I'm not keen on the taste else I might have picked some.
The happy threesome ... a mallard duck, white duck and moorhen. Around the pond, there's plenty of opportunities to spot the wildlife. You can't forget to take some duck food with you else they won't be happy with you.
It was really nice chilling out around the ponds. The weather continues to be nice and warm. It's all looking very pretty and lush at the moment.
